Description

Butylene glycol is a versatile ingredient primarily used in skincare and cosmetic products as a humectant, solvent, and stabilizer. It’s often found in moisturizers, serums, and even hair care products. You can find it pre-mixed in many products or add it to DIY formulations. When using it in DIY products, it’s typically added to the water phase of emulsions and can be mixed in at concentrations of 0.5-5%.
